21st Motorcycle

Hi
Some time ago I got my hands on this
21st Motorcycle my first intention was to
just put it up on the shelf,as I´m also busy
building a Panzer IV.

But the handle was broke when I got it,
so that had to be fixed. So one thing led to
another complete tear down.

The battle plan is Working lights, Updates on the bagcarrier and MG mounts
Countersunk the speedo is done used some thin transparent as the glass.
The front lamp "used a 1/8" scale old monogram 32 rod reflector" .
General updates all over.

Re: 21st Motorcycle

That looks like a lot of work, but will be worth it when you finish it. Keep the pictures coming.

Re: 21st Motorcycle

Some more picture off the bags and there
carriers. My first idéa was that they should have
been springloaded just like the real thing but I have
give that up. So this is close enough I think.
I also made the back off the seat foldable so that I can
change battery. First plan here was to make it like the real thing
but I gave that up considering the plastic felt to flimsy to handle that.

Now that I can take the bags on and off I just
had to try to make a Watercarrier as well. :-)

More off that little story tomorrow

Re: 21st Motorcycle

Some very nice work you are doing on the bike. That is the one thing that has bothered me on all the bikes I have. Is every time I move them the bags fall off and they are a pain to get back on. I don't want to glue them on.

Re: 21st Motorcycle

You are so sick, and you know it!!
Why can't you just play with the stuff - why do you have to rip it apart and do all that horrible stuff?

Its looks bloody great Björn and I'm so jealous of your talent!!
Keep it up, Bro!!
