Re: Panzer II
I'm not sure what you are talking about on the snubber deal since you didn't say anything. A word of caution, make sure you are looking at PzII photos as Wespe used heavier duty suspension.
I don't have a kit to follow along with but it should be fun to watch what everyone does on their builds. |

Re: Panzer II
I figured it was only a matter of time before someone started their pzII. I'm looking forward to watching your build. What unit are you planning to make the tank belong to.

Re: Panzer II
I am up to the putting on the wheels stage with the hull built up and the Turret finished and detailed. I did not take pictures.

Well if you look at the instructions it shows the thick part up and should be down as it catches the arm of the Bell crank, where curved. Make sense? LOL Jeff |

Re: Panzer II
Jeff, the kit is correct. The travel stops mounting plates alternate in their orientation, with the stops themselves at the same level. The drawing you show is very simplified and only shows one mounting.

Re: Panzer II
I found a guy in the UK that can make engine components for the Panzer II. I have his website too. DT Models - Dave Tootill's website. Specialising in Large Scale Scratchbuilt models, Military vehicles, Railguns, Dioramas, Sci-fi and Armoured Fighting Vehicles ...

Still don't get you. They show the thick part facing up when in turn in should face down were it meets the end of the bell crank rod. Jeff |

Re: Panzer II
Right. I had some conceptual trouble with this as well. Just read the part numbers and pay close attention to the orientation of the mounting blocks and it will be easy.

Re: Panzer II
I guess I am confused. Do your photos show how the instructions have you assemble the kit, or do they show how you have changed things? The photos look correct to me.
