Re: 250 Storage locker
John,
When I scratchbuilt my 250 (years ago it seems) I found a photo showing a door with a piano hinge on the left side and another in the middle of the door. I looked thru my photos but I couldn't find it, plus I can't seem to open a book (pdf) I saved to CD that I think had the photo in it. Here's a photo from the Steel Dragon website showing their center hinge: http://www.steeldragons.net/ammo_box.jpg I put a shelf approximately in the middle (height-wise) so that holders for MG ammo drums could be stored on the floor of the locker and on the middle shelf. I'd have to pull my 250 out of storage to take pix, but will if you want to see what I mean. It makes sense to have a center hinge on the door, the 250 was cramped and I doubt with a person standing in front of the locker a solid single door could be opened. But then again it might also depend on what version 250 also. I'll look thru some of my other books to see if I can find something. Bob
