Thanks everyone for the kind words. This was really a good kit to try to build. Alot of the things I did was to satisfy myself. The AH Demag kit is NOT for the true novice builder. I would only recommend it to a novice builder if they have a more experienced builder very close to them. It is for an intermediate builder. I hope this proves to those who had issues about this kit at the start that it can be built into a very nice addition to anyones 1/6 collection. I had alot of help and support on this one from alot of people, I say thanks to all of those. Again thanks for the kind words and I'm glad everyone has enjoyed..

PS I kind of like clean/light weathering on my vehicles also.. :-P

Better late than never...I think you did a great job on it. Along with your custom items which make it turn out even better. Do the sides fold? Whats your feel on its sturdiness after its build? Way to go JOhn !

Don't know if I fully understand?? Do the sides fold?? The rear lets down as shown in the pics. For those who followed my build I did do alot of additions to beef this thing up. Again my choice. Overall the final product is very sturdy but then again I used alot of 2 part epoxy to ensure added strength in certain areas..In the end the builder can have a vehicle that is as sturdy as most custom vehicles. The amount of abuse this thing will/can take depends on most things similar in this hobby. As we strive for perfect scale sometimes things get a little brittle. All in all my demag is sturdy and would have no problem bringing it to a show. No more than any of the other scratchbuilds that I have made..
