• Pardon the dust while the boys rebuild the site.

The board will be in a state of disarray as I get things sorted out, for a little while at least.

The new incarnation is using Xenforo as the system software. It is much like what we are used to, with a few differences. I will see about making a FAQ to help point out the differences for the members.

One IMPORTANT difference for all of us old timers is that the 'mail' system is replaced with what are called 'conversations'/

There is no 'Inbox' or 'Out box' or 'Sent' folders anymore.

Think of Conversations as private 'threads' or topics that don't exist in a forum, that you start with another member. NOTE: Conversations can include more than one member if you or someone else in the conversaion, likes.
Takes a little getting used to but I am sure you all can get a hang of it.

Only a slightly modified default default Xenforo style is available for now. Once the new SAG style is ready it will be available.

All existing users should be able to login with their usernames and passwords once the site goes up.

If anyone has difficulties logging in please contact me at sixthvanguard@gmail.com.

Thank you for your support and patience. I know it has been a loooong road.

DML Sherman kit with 105mm gun

Wow, I've been MIA from the 1:6 world for nearly 4 years and I come back to see this. If it wasn't for my college expenses and fishing hobby I would be all over this! The last time I logged on I think DML was just starting to release kits. I've always wanted a 1:6 Sherman kit when I was in high...

All he needs is a pipe! Be cool if you had the original 21C pipe, so there could be the original piece in with your new version. Great bash and I can definitely see the resemblance!

I did see that a while back, and am still blown away by what he did! Puts what I'm doing to shame, lol, but regardless, my stuart has been sitting for years and needs a lot of attention. Scratchbuilding Stuart Details?

Reef12: Thanks for the advice and the links! Do you know what Bob's screen name is? I've seen a few builds that totally blew my mind, I think the person scratchbuilt the whole stuart. I got the first grab handles on the turret today, still have to add the rest. I'll see if I can get my pops...

Hey guys, Its been years since I've posted here, but I finally have time this summer to work on my stuart before I head back to college. As much as I would like to buy the aftermarket parts for my stuart, I need to save money for school, so I have to go the DIY route for everything. What do...

    AB Old & WIP

I recognized the first paratrooper the second I saw him, he was one of the figures that inspired me to collect US paratroopers. He was in the old CVI website gallery right? Great job on both figures, they look great :D
