Re: Armor Hobbies 1/6th Scale Sd.Kfz 250 Delrin Injection Molded Tracks!

Spyker/Ryan,
I'm no injection molding expert -but it looks like because of the flow lines in the material, that the ABS was a bit too cool when injected. Perhaps not enough pressure or fast enough...

Re: Armor Hobbies 1/6th Scale Sd.Kfz 250 Delrin Injection Molded Tracks!

Delrin is also known as Acetal. Its a high strength engineering plastic. I actually think it is paintable. Being a material often used for bearings and bushings - its just not thought of a material...

Re: Are these two sherman kits the same?

The 105 kit contains the 75mm gun parts. My Sherman build (75mm) on this site, was built from the 105 kit. Not sure if the new release also contains the 105 parts. As has prev. been mentioned the...

Re: M5 from Scratch

Re: Panzer I aufs B

Excellent job - I didn't realize it was a scratch build till I saw the white raw pieces. Really nice job in that case! Perfect weathering and painting. Such a tiny little vehicle. I cannot...

Re: 1944 Stuart Build "Grifter"

Painless,
Your details are looking great. The new tracks and re-worked wheels are a huge improvement. I love the modelmasters 1911 Olive drab. I use a lot of it! Your stu is looking great.

Re: SAG 14th Anniversary

I don't know which is worse news - hearing this site is going down, or having to use FB. I can't find anything on FB, except what the daily post is by someone. But "everyone is using it" these days...

Magnificent details. I like it unpainted. Although hopefully the steel parts don't rust. Beautiful piece.

Re: MG42 Gunner, Ambust at Poteau Version 2.0

Fierce looking figure. I just noticed the big knife or bayonet "at the ready" near his neck. Missed that in the real photos too. Beautiful work.

Gorgeous models and fantastic workmanship.

But the price is a shocker. Makes Armortek's price a good value as well. Interestingly WS say these are museum quality - but the Panther G is a bit...

Re: 17 Pdr Pheasant

I was planning to use 0.01" (.25mm)...
