FOA Panther info request

Hello SAG modelers!

First, I'd like to request some help: We have a commission 1/6 Panther Ausf.G from the Peiper Kampf-Gruppe, Dec. 1944 that we want to finish with the M.A.N. Disk pattern. Rather than 're-inventing the wheel', did anyone ever post a template pattern of these disks on SAG?

I'm adding some picture of this other static Panther Ausf.G we just finished for the same Peiper unit in a different camo pattern. It is shipping to the customer this week. We still need to add metal highlights to the tracks and smoke on the exhaust, and some light smoke on the nozzle brake

Re: FOA Panther info request

Next series of pics - Please feel free to comment or critique

This tank is the standard FOA003 Panther Ausf.G in 3/16" ABS which is easy to handle, add weld marks with a hot caligraph pen.

6th Scale Icons parts were added thoroughly

Paint is Mission Models, and weathering is mostly oil painting

I wouldn't dare to critique, except to say that I've been sitting here drooling over the pics. A magnificent-looking model !

Re: FOA Panther info request

Great looking Panther, fine details, great camo for Bulge era Panther G. The steel wheel version is very rare. I haven't see one in any 1/6 model (Armortek or FOA, or otherwise). Would be cool to model using a Late Tiger or KT wheel. Wish you would bring back the FOA forum <hint>.

Re: FOA Panther info request

Bob, that forum was hosted by GoDaddy, and as I was reflecting if I wanted to keep the forum or just move to FB, they told me that ALL THE INFORMATION on it was deleted... gone!

I was so upset as we have posted 1,000s of pics, how-to comments, discussion with customers

I was livid!

A link to some photos and designs for the disc camo

Really nice Panther just think the weld line on the chin mantlet is a bit too thick and as it's such a prominent part of this Panther it sticks out. Just my opinion.
