Hasbro RC Jeep wheel adapters?

First I am a new recruit on the 1/6th scale Armor scene and loving it. I am an avid large scale 90 to 100" wingspan RC 1/5 & 1/6th scale WWII airplane builder & flyer, so this stuff ties in.
I am converting a Hasbro 4X4 to RC with Axial front & rear axles. I am not clear as to how to adapt the Hasbro stocl Jeep rims to the hex nut drive axles on the Axial SC10 and other axles. Any ideas would be appreciated as well as the correct leaf springs so the jeep remains scale.
Thanks for any help.

Call up the morters......
