FOA027 Flak 36 8.8cm with Trailers

The newest releases from FOA are below:

First, we completed the T12 Gun Motor Carriage. It is the modified French 1897 75mm on an M3 Half-track, which fought at Kasserine Pass. Ton is finalizing the conversion, and building the building instructions

Second, we announced a few months ago the Spring release of the Flak 36 8.8cm with trailers

1. The trailer is now completed and the master molds are done (see pics below) and back with our Master builder who is making the building instructions

2. The 8.8cm gun are shipping to us shortly, when Ton will finish the fitting of the trailers onto the gun frame

3. The tires will be in rubber, made in Europe. The shield is laser-cut steel. Some small parts and critical attachment parts are spin cast in metal with some with inserted bolts.

Expected release: April/May 2019.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: FOA is changing its business plan. We are discontinuing kits because mold's life is limited, and unless we cast them efficiently in a relatively short period of time, they will harden and lose their crisp details.

  • FOA027 Flak 36 is only released at 30 units. 25 are already pre-sold (actually reserved for $1)
  • The kits discontinued are Jagdpanzer IV, StuG IV, Brummbar
  • We will announce the release of the Kingtiger in ABS next week
  • The Jagdpanther is discontinued but a new ABS body is being designed for it. Then FOA will offer the static and RC versions
  • Tiger I, Nashorn, Panzer IV, M3 Halftrack, Jagdtiger and Panther are our best sellers and will stay in production until each will run their molds out.
  • The Panzer III is being re-designed both in static and RC
  • Did you see the Kingtiger/Jagdpanther Pak43 breech we released? It was designed in 3D, and masters are 3D printed
