Oddball's brown leather jacket?

Hi Guys,

I've been thinking about getting all the gear together to make a body for my Donald Sutherland headsculpt (to make Oddball from Kelly's Hero's) and i was just wondering if there is a brown leather jacket available in 1/6th?

If there isn't one available does anyone have any ideas how i could go about making one? or converting an existing 1/6th jacket that looks similar?

All help much appreciated,

(Happy Holidays Everyone!!!)

Cheers,
Peter

Peter, DiD's Albert Ross came with a flight jacket that should fit the bill. I found a couple on ebay:

Hope this helps.

Hey Peter - I just did a major edit on my post!! The ALberty Ross jacket is by far the better option and I was wrong about the insignia being screened on. Check the second of the 2 links I posted and you will see it's separate.

Looks like the Josh Ackerman/Bobby Dalton winter tanker jacket to me.

Actually,
if you can get your hands on the DML 'Ben Harris' A-2 jacket, you'll find that it works better for your 'Oddball' bash as it's significantly darker in color than the DiD 'Albert Ross' version...
also, Kreiger is right about the Tanker's jacket...the DML version came with 'Josh Ackerman', 'Mac', 'Bobby Dalton'...it was a prized possession for it's warmth, and plenty of GI's tried to get their hands on them...a great series of color shots of 1st ID assault troops headed for Omaha Beach on D-Day show a significant number wearing the jackets.
DiD also made a tanker's jacket that's slightly darker in color, but should still work...it came with DiD's 'David Merrill' D-Day Ranger...
