Scratch StuG, built for combat
Hi All,
Thought I would post up something a little diferent. It's not a 1/6 master piece like the projects around here, but it is a 1/6 tank none the less. The basic concept is simple, 1/6 tanks equiped with paintball guns chase eachother around a battle field. ![]() Here is the tank I'm working on http://tankcombat.blogspot.com its a scratch built 1/6 stug. Not a beauty queen but built tough for combat. Please let me know what you think! ![]() TigerAce |

Very nice, I like your idea reguarding the track. It may not be a perfect match to the real track pattern but it seems to look close and functions well... nice idea you came up with

Cheers,
Yeah thats the basic idea, make it look good enough at 10' or so! The rctankcombat.com guys use that type of track quite often. The Idea came from Steve Tyng, one of the hobbies veterans. TigerAce |

I guess for those that can't afford exact scale track this is a novel solution

Looking forward to seeing this progress. You've come up with some interesting solutions to simply some of the functionality and it'll be interesting to see how it sits when it's all said and done.
Thanks for sharing! Allan |
