A few weeks ago I visited my brother in Paris and I went to the Musee des Invalides, which houses both Napoleon's tomb and a few museums.

I remember reading about these action figures some time ago on another forum but I wasn't expecting to encounter them. I'll let the puctures speak for themselves...

The suprising fact is that no admission fee is required so see these figures! They are located in a corridor leading from the admission ticket desk to the entry of the war museum. So anyone with a camera is able to get close-up pictures of these figures....

I've taken quite a few more pictures of these figures and I'll see if I can make them available in an online album.

Fine work, and well-tended to....thanks, Dutchman!
When you think about it, even in 1880 craftsmen had access to almost what we have today, save some of the adhesives and synthetic fabrics. The metalwork on the figures is exceptional...very inspiring.

Thank you Dutchman,

The are all impressive but the Napoleanics are my cup of tea. That era is my favorite because of variety and color.
