Honestly, I would try and damage the shield a little bit. That way it would give it more of a field look. Out of all the pics I have, I think I might have 2 that still show the shield mounted and 1 of them was a training picture. I think it turned out great though. You shouldnt be so hard on yourself. Looks great.

By the looks of this you sure could have fooled me. I also think this turned out great and think you are to hard on yourself. This looks like a great figure to me and thanks for sharing. SHEP.

Hi Shep,
Thank you for responding. Well, what it mostly comes down to is knowledge, time and money. All I got it time! LOL! Money I hope soon, but the knowledge to do custom work, that's the hard part.
Iam glad you like him,I will post more of his comrades when I get some new batteries for the camera.

Hi Miguel and Henrik,
Thanks alot for responding and thanks for the kind words. It means a lot as I have drooled over both of your work for awhile now. I still love Miguel's DAK 2 man dio and Henrik,I cant pick out one thing you have done to praise, there are just too many that I like! : )

I know I asked this before but for some reason I paint metal better (I think) than plastic. Plastic ALWAYS givs me a hard time. Any reason why and is there a way to get past it?
