It was 14º F (-10º C for you non-American types!Laughing ) this morning in my back yard, so like a good Minnesotan, I decided to go outside and play! I modified the pictures to kinda look like a period color photo, but I also am including the original unaltered pics for comparison. Please let me know which you like better.

Looks great, now I'm cold and it is cold here in the High Desert, light rain.

I like both photo effects. The first series looks like the effect I like to use to antique my figure photos . The only disadvantage of this technique is that it fades out the back ground to a point where it almost looks like a photo back ground that he is posing against. In the other photos he looks (to my eye) much more in the scene. But really either one works, he looks like he is standing on the banks of some river in Eastern Europe or Russia.

Exclamation

Cheers

Tim

Hi,

Your figure is great. I hope you don't mind but I had a little play with one of your photo's to make it look older:

Thanks Antony

Nice photos! Nice Luftwaffe greatcoat too! I'm envious!

I understand the sadism that goes into playing outside under those conditions... I shot this photo story back in February - about four or five hours of playtime in the snow:

To Catch A Prisoner, Near Moscow, February 1942

Nice work all around! I like the vintage color photo approach!

It's one of the BBI ones from years ago, that came with the Gefreiter and the Officer. Nice work on the Russian photoshoot you did! I was only outside for about 5 minutes so it wasn't too bad.

Antony, no problem. I like to see what people can do with the tools now available to manipulate photos.
