It is a rare occasion that I post my work, so here goes...

Even parts of this have been an ongoing effort, this is largely a project I have worked on for the last few days. Still needs some fine tuning, but pleased with it so far.

This is a platoon-level radio operator from 2nd Battalion, 501st PIR, 101st Airborne Division, although you cannot really discern his helmet markings due to the netting and scrim.

Kit breakdown:

• DML Dan Summers sculpt
• DiD Corbin Black OD shade 7 M42 Jump Suit
• NLM Corcoran Jump Boots
• DiD Corbin Black leather palm gloves
• DML M1C Helmet w/ retrofitted DiD Corbin Black First Aid Pack, Custom A-harness and chin cup, Custom web chin strap, DML scrim (painted)
• DML Nick M1A1 Carbine, repainted w/ custom carbine sling
• DiD cloth pistol belt (numerous releases)
• DML M1910 canteen and cover, customized with LTDs and cap retaining chain.
• DiD M1942 Carlisle Type First Aid Pouch
• DML M1910 E-Tool cover with custom shortened handle Paratrooper E-Tool
• DiD Ricky Foster M1917/M1918 Trench Spike (Knuckle Duster) with adapted M6 scabbard from BGT, custom leg strap
• M1936 Suspenders refit with Armorpax hardware and end tabs
• HankCo's fine Rigger Pouch, Carbine
• TL-122 Angle Neck Flashlight (unknown source)
• BBi Spark Parsons SCR300 Radio with Formed Plywood Packboard
• BGT Rank Insignia

There are a couple of things I admit that might be slightly from the norm of what this trooper may have used, but not outside the realm of possibility. Inquiring minds will want to nit pick those, so I will leave that fun to them.

I caught that as well hank, very nice touch, most don't realize that they were brass and didn't rust.

Wow!! Turned out fantastic Ty. You need to show more often. Exclamation

Like the brass detail as well. I do that too, but your pic taking skills are waaaayyyy better than mine and show more.

Wish I could have gotten in on the Corbin release when he came out. I seemed to have missed quite a bit. Exclamation
