Hey guys, here's my Italian farmer bash, that I'm hoping to use in some future dioramas. DML body with TT's headsculpt, DiD Angus vest (dyed black) and shirt, DiD boots, Banjoman beret, and a pair of home-made pants. I also made the scythe out of a twig and a tin can.

The scary part was the moustache experiment - I hoped I wouldn't ruin the HS and paint job, but I think it turned out well and will try it again. It's just some fur from an old cat toy.

Here's a close-up of the business end of the scythe. The blade has a tang that fits into a slot cut into the handle.

Hope you like him.

K.

Dude thats great! I was thinking of doing one of these myself. Thanks for the inspiration. He looks terrific. Love the detail of the mustache and the vest. He actually looks Sicilian to be honest but he would work in any ITO setting

That's great, because he is meant to be Sicilian. :)

He's a great looking original figure. One thing I love is when ever I hear someone say things like: "I made it out of a twig and a piece of tin can."
That shows true innovation and is a perfect example of why this hobby can be so fun.

Cheers
Tim

Ha, too cool Exclamation

Always get so wrapped up in the military side of the 1/6 world and bashes like this are refreshing. Would look great on your Med Dio trading some Vino for some GI or Tommie rations.
