Hello all...
this base is finished to my satisfaction...
Here are some pics of the completed project..
and I also had some time to take a few phots using it as the 'backdrop', quickly modified in a simple 'photoshop' program...

Outstanding work Bruce! The figures aren't to shabby either! Love the close-up shot with the small rubble/debris at the GI's feet, very realistic.

Hey Bruce,
That base really sets the scene. The b/w image fooled me for a moment-- thought it was an historical photo! Thanks for sharing. Is there another "making of" thread that shows how you put this together? I searched but couldn't find one. I've never made a base before, but your photos inspired me to try!

Also, I found a link to an EXCELLENT 'Dick Winters' bash at OSW...
I believe this gentleman used the same 'scene' to inspire this bash...
it would really augment this base!
