Hello Tim,
Could you tell a little about the motors, as wattage, reduction, and perhaps the supplier. I have been thinking which motors to select for my next project, and these seem to be perfect, if only would know where to buy them.

Bill, thanks again for the encouragement.

Hello Matias,

The motors have the following markings.

DC GEARMOTOR
83ZY125-124/90JB50G1232
12VDC 10A 90W
3500r/min 1:50
MAnufacturer
DONGZHENG MOTOR CO. LTD

A great source that may have what you are looking for is

http://www.robotmarketplace.com/store.html

They have all kinds of cool stuff, including a huge selection of motors. I bought a small speed controller and the motors for my 250 there.

Hi Tony

Although it may seem like I am building the Tiger and Panzer IV simultaneously, this is only temporary as I transition all focus to the Panzer IV. I will continue with some custom parts for the Tiger project but the "big work" is temporarily on hold.

My collection of RC vehicles is actually quite small (my wife may have a different opinion). Armortek Panther Ausf G, Armortek late Tiger 1, Blizkrieg Armour Panzer IV and an Armor Hobbies 250/9 RC conversion(sadly neglected). Future projects will be Armortek Panzer III - Stug III conversion and another Blitzkrieg Armour panzer (haven't made my mind up yet on which one)

Best regards and Merry Christmas
Happy Tanking!

Tim

Looks amazing!
In your hands it will become a masterpiece!
Just out of curiosity, how much does this beauty weigh? (without the motors and R/C equipment)
Merry Christmas!

Hi Yankee, Laughing

Hi Eduardo, Weight of the Panzer IV chassis is approx 100lbs. Chassis, upper hull and turret(no motors or electronics) approx 165lbs. Hetzer chassis and upper hull(no motors and electronics) approx 100lbs.

Hope that helps
Kind regards
Tim
