And the pun is intended! Did a bayonet repaint.
Thanks for Sgt Schultz II and M1903 for the ideas. No more "minty green" scabbards, no more "bright" bayonet blades.
In addition, I did a bit of detailing on the bayonet hilts, as per some pictures I saw on the web. I lightly brushed brass paint on the appropriate parts of the hilt, to set them off a bit. As usual with subtle techniques, you can't really see here how much better it looks.

I think I'll re-take some pictures if it clouds over, or maybe in the shade. The effect might show up better.

| Big improvement on scabbard and bayonet! I've always hated that Mint green color DML uses on the Scabbard and T-Handle shovel. |
