• Pardon the dust while the boys rebuild the site.

    The board will be in a state of disarray as I get things sorted out, for a little while at least.

    The new incarnation is using Xenforo as the system software. It is much like what we are used to, with a few differences. I will see about making a FAQ to help point out the differences for the members.

     

    One IMPORTANT difference for all of us old timers is that the 'mail' system is replaced with what are called 'conversations'/

    There is no 'Inbox' or 'Out box' or 'Sent' folders anymore.

    Think of Conversations as private 'threads' or topics that don't exist in a forum, that you start with another member. NOTE: Conversations can include more than one member if you or someone else in the conversaion, likes.
    Takes a little getting used to but I am sure you all can get a hang of it.

     

    Only a slightly modified default default Xenforo style is available for now. Once the new SAG style is ready it will be available.

    All existing users should be able to login with their usernames and passwords once the site goes up.

It's unfortunate that I can add my name to the list of people taken by this scammer.

Back in late January, I made a deal with this joker to get some headsculpts and an ammo bandalier. Everything was good, but then all of a sudden, he dropped off the face of the earth.

It's June now. Haven't received anything. PMs go unanswered. My last message from him was in early April, asking if I'd received the package. I replied I hadn't. Haven't heard back from him.

Stay away at all costs.

Thats a shame to hear. I have delt with him before and bought a loose Artur Hecht with extras for like $60.00 bucks. It sucks how one deal goes good and others down the toilet.
 
bummer, he posted a new trade list at another site a couple days ago and i was tempted on a couple items, guess i'll pass
 
I have dealt with him on another board a couple of times...
the second transaction was a little slow and communication wasn't the absolute greatest...but I did recieve the listed items PLUS a couple of GOOD extras...
...lesson for me...I'd deal with him again, but wouldn't expect the ridiculously fast service that I've been accustomed to with the other folks here and there with whom I've traded....

irish70 is a good guy, have dealt with him many times over the years with no problems. Sad to see his name pop up in the cooler several times over the past year or two, hopefully all will turn out well, keep us posted :!:
 
Still no word, this is a writeoff.

It's too bad that this loser cut and ran like that.
