    The board will be in a state of disarray as I get things sorted out, for a little while at least.

    The new incarnation is using Xenforo as the system software. It is much like what we are used to, with a few differences. I will see about making a FAQ to help point out the differences for the members.

     

    One IMPORTANT difference for all of us old timers is that the 'mail' system is replaced with what are called 'conversations'/

    There is no 'Inbox' or 'Out box' or 'Sent' folders anymore.

    Think of Conversations as private 'threads' or topics that don't exist in a forum, that you start with another member. NOTE: Conversations can include more than one member if you or someone else in the conversaion, likes.
    Takes a little getting used to but I am sure you all can get a hang of it.

     

    Only a slightly modified default default Xenforo style is available for now. Once the new SAG style is ready it will be available.

    All existing users should be able to login with their usernames and passwords once the site goes up.

Hi, Dave here from Good old Blightly, having worked my way up through various model scales I have found detailing heaven at 1/6 and a job I finally enjoy doing.

A lot of you already know what we are about and we thank you all for your custom and support, without all of you we wouldn't have got very far.
 
Placed my first order with Dave last week (SDKFZ seats)and have to say the service, as well as the actual items was first class, but you probably knew that already........

Unbelieveable Postal Service
I was blown away today when I received a parcel from Armorpax in the UK. According to the date and time stamp on the parcel it was posted at 10:15:46 on 02/02/11 and I picked up the parcel at my post office here in Cardiff Ontario Canada at 2011/02/04 14:09. So that means it only took 2 days to leave there and come to Canada pass through customs then into the postal system to me. Talk about prompt shipping by a super guy who makes beautifull detail parts out of white metal. Funny thing is when I mail a letter by 1st class mail to my son here in Ontario it takes anywhere from 4-8 days go figure.Thank you Dave for the excellent service....Harold
