Re: Gloucestershire Regiment - Korean War

Very Cool!

You don't see many of the other combatants in the Korean War posted that often.

Great job!

Re: Gloucestershire Regiment - Korean War

Really nice work - kind of an off-beat subject for the Korean War. What inspired you to make one of this regiment?

Re: Gloucestershire Regiment - Korean War

Thank you all.
My inspiration? I like the British army at all times, never seen a British figure set in the Korea War.

Re: Gloucestershire Regiment - Korean War

Very nice figure. I particually like the pose. Just one small gripe, the trousers worn by the British in Korea were either one left over from the war (1940 pattern with the exposed button), some pretty much identical p/w derivitives (46 & 47 patterns) and the 49 pattern with the pocket on the side. As far as I know the parachute trousers from ww2 were not issued to the Glosters. But like I say it is a minor gripe. It is always good to see KW figures!

Re: Gloucestershire Regiment - Korean War

I have to say - those gaiters look like they are the perfect fit. And the trousers are bloused very nicely!

Again - Top notch work! Very interesting subject too!

Re: Gloucestershire Regiment - Korean War

Great figure. Very natural pose, and good to see a Korean War Brit - the 'Glorious Glosters' were an iconic regiment after their action at the Imjin.

Were are the hat and jumper from?
