Reworking old GI Joe jeep trailer

Has anyone reworked the old GI Joe Five Star jeep trailer? I was wondering how it scaled out. Can it be reworked into a decent model without totally rebuilding it? I have three of them and while the jeep isn't worth reworking but trailer doesn't look too bad.

All opinions are appreciated.

Re: Reworking old GI Joe jeep trailer

I don't have any pic's to share, but I've seen some done up quite nice without major overhaul, some grinding off of plastic bit's and adding missing details for most part

Re: Reworking old GI Joe jeep trailer

I've reworked one from 21st Century that came with the Mutt M151. It had flat/squarish type fenders so I made new ones from plastic bowls.

Here is a link to a picture of one and supposedly the measurements that may help you.

Oh yeah I used SOTW Jeep wheels too!

Re: Reworking old GI Joe jeep trailer

Cory (panzerallan) and Mike have reworked the GI Joe Jeep trailer with amazing results!

I bought one at the Kentuckiana GI Joe show two years ago to do the same but I've not got around to doing it yet.

It can be done!

Post pics!
