SS Pants Question?

Hello,
I was wondering if the pants from DID's Konig figure would work on a SS Infantry 1944 Arnhem? Or is the color of the pants to light? I'm thinking they are too light, but I though I would asked thanks!

Late war just about anything is possible. Supplies were short it wasn't uncommon for soldiers to take what they could get. Even colors varied from lot to lot. I would say you can easily get away with using Konig's trousers for what you want.

I just checked out the DID figure displayed on MD and yes those trousers would be perfectly acceptable. Field grey varried in shades from the green end to the brownish end of the field grey scale. You will also still see some stone grey trousers being worn right up to the end of the war. When a new model of trouser or tunic was introduced they didn't turn their old items in for the new model. They wore what they had till it was no longer serviceable. Also the color of the tunic didn't always match the trousers and vise-versa
