German Wagon pics...
Can someone help point me in the direction of the pictures somebody took of the German Cargo Wagon at the Samur museum? I need some good shots of the wheels, the hubs in particular to finish the cut files for the guys in the dio group.

Rick,
Here's one I built a while back: ![]() I found an online photo of the Hf.1 Field Wagon plastic model (still on the sprue, but flat), saved it, and enlarged it using Adobe Photo Deluxe. The wheels are 8" diameter. Don't know how accurate it is, finding measurement data on this wagon was near impossible.

Here's some data:
Feldgrau And another: Air Connection Italieri Model Schiffer Books WAGON These 2 books may be the same. I read that the Schiffer book was a reamke of the other.

Rick,
I took a few of the one at Saumur earlier this year: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() They are all in the "Misc Vehicles - Saumur" gallery, there are more photos there, if you need higher res files let me know and I'll email them direct. I also took some of the one at the Sinsheim Museum near Stuttgart: ![]() ![]() ![]() Vince. |

Hello Rick:
Did I miss something about a wagon kit? I would love to have a set of wheels and even just some rough diminsions to build one of these beauties myself. I thought that I kept a good account of whats being offered here on the board, don't want to miss out on any cool goodies. Thanks Jeff (Geppetto) ![]() |

Wow thank Vince.
I'm actually very surprised at the amount of metal on the later wagon type, I should not be but I am. The weird part is the bottm wagon also seems to have a real crappy wheel design as they apear to be flat and not dish panned. They stoped making flat wagon wheels in the middle ages for the most part I thought as they don't handle side thrusts very well. I think I might opt for the type on the top wagon instead.
