• Pardon the dust while the boys rebuild the site.

    The board will be in a state of disarray as I get things sorted out, for a little while at least.

    The new incarnation is using Xenforo as the system software. It is much like what we are used to, with a few differences. I will see about making a FAQ to help point out the differences for the members.

     

    One IMPORTANT difference for all of us old timers is that the 'mail' system is replaced with what are called 'conversations'/

    There is no 'Inbox' or 'Out box' or 'Sent' folders anymore.

    Think of Conversations as private 'threads' or topics that don't exist in a forum, that you start with another member. NOTE: Conversations can include more than one member if you or someone else in the conversaion, likes.
    Takes a little getting used to but I am sure you all can get a hang of it.

     

    Only a slightly modified default default Xenforo style is available for now. Once the new SAG style is ready it will be available.

    All existing users should be able to login with their usernames and passwords once the site goes up.

German Data plates???

How about some help from those that are the German experts on this site. I would like to continue to help detail this hobby... Even though I am an allied fan myself and that is primarily what I collect. I still would like to create for others...

I'm not an expert on German vehicles/equipment. I have found limited reference on German data plates, I know there has to be more out there. If you would like to detail up your German stuff then please help me out and share your info! I've had many requests from members to create this and that and I would like to do so, but accurately as I can!

If you have ideas for things you would like to see done please help me out! Please share your ideas and your needs!

I would like to see the ones that go on the German kitchen trailer for one.

Maybe some German street name signs, like Rommel strasse etc, one way sign and other simple signs to help dress up a dioroma.

Data plates for the Vehicle heaters, torch, Fuel Pump and other stuff that Werkstadt made in the past.

Sdkfz 250 items dash and data plate signs

The list could be endless
