• Pardon the dust while the boys rebuild the site.

The board will be in a state of disarray as I get things sorted out, for a little while at least.

The new incarnation is using Xenforo as the system software. It is much like what we are used to, with a few differences. I will see about making a FAQ to help point out the differences for the members.

One IMPORTANT difference for all of us old timers is that the 'mail' system is replaced with what are called 'conversations'/

There is no 'Inbox' or 'Out box' or 'Sent' folders anymore.

Think of Conversations as private 'threads' or topics that don't exist in a forum, that you start with another member. NOTE: Conversations can include more than one member if you or someone else in the conversaion, likes.
Takes a little getting used to but I am sure you all can get a hang of it.

Only a slightly modified default default Xenforo style is available for now. Once the new SAG style is ready it will be available.

All existing users should be able to login with their usernames and passwords once the site goes up.

If anyone has difficulties logging in please contact me at sixthvanguard@gmail.com.

Thank you for your support and patience. I know it has been a loooong road.

Sd.Kfz. 247 Build

Re: Sd.Kfz. 247 Build Ready for Combat

Finished up the 247 today, will do some work on the radio and will be using the radio faces that I got from Alfonso. The wheels from panzerwerk are perfect. This is the comand car for Panzer Meyer so painted it in Ambush camo. Easy to move, can lift it with one hand. Hope you like it was a fun and easy build. Like to thank Alfonso for putting me in touch with Dave so I could get the templates to do the body.

Bill,
Your 247 looks awesome. Ill show the pics to dave tonight when he stops by. I hope the radio faces work out for you. Once you sand smooth the sides they should slide right into a box. I like the look and the weathering of the muffler. By the way, i received your package, thanks again! Ill post some pucs soon of the troops ive put together as of late. Again, thats one sweet command car!:!:

Great job Bill. This is a vehicle I didn't know much about until recently, now I've seen a couple of great builds as well as photos of the real deal from the war and peace show. It's a very interesting vehicle.

Finished up the radios I got from Alfonso today and they look a lot better than the ones I had made. Took a little time to clean the faces up and paint the. I made the new rack using the trees that came with the Dragon Jeep to hold the parts . They work very nice as the bends are perfect and look nice. Built new boxes for the faces and it fits perfect in the 247. Thanks again for the faces saved me a bunch of money that I don't have at this time.
