• Pardon the dust while the boys rebuild the site.

The board will be in a state of disarray as I get things sorted out, for a little while at least.

The new incarnation is using Xenforo as the system software. It is much like what we are used to, with a few differences. I will see about making a FAQ to help point out the differences for the members.

One IMPORTANT difference for all of us old timers is that the 'mail' system is replaced with what are called 'conversations'/

There is no 'Inbox' or 'Out box' or 'Sent' folders anymore.

Think of Conversations as private 'threads' or topics that don't exist in a forum, that you start with another member. NOTE: Conversations can include more than one member if you or someone else in the conversaion, likes.
Takes a little getting used to but I am sure you all can get a hang of it.

Only a slightly modified default default Xenforo style is available for now. Once the new SAG style is ready it will be available.

All existing users should be able to login with their usernames and passwords once the site goes up.

If anyone has difficulties logging in please contact me at sixthvanguard@gmail.com.

Thank you for your support and patience. I know it has been a loooong road.

Some new 1/6 'Garage build' manufacturers

That's a great vehicle! When I first looked at your third image, I thought the step up plate was Legos!
Simply wow...some very nice - and unique - pieces of work there. So much potential out there these days...wish I had the time, the know-how and the skill to do likewise but that is what makes SAG such an interesting site to be a part of; the diversity of 1/6th scale model-makers in all its guises to display their, particularly in this case, exceptional talents. Thanks for sharing, Steve
I also have the WC54 and it's a great model, with two caveats:

1) The wheels don't rotate, which I have to say was a disappointment.

2) The front wheels and whole rear axle were broken off during shipping.

This is the second 3D printed 1/6th model I've received which has been damaged during shipping, and both were due to the design of the parts and the fact they weren't printed with 100% infill.

I can see that this increases print time and material used but for structural parts I would have thought it was a no brainer.

The warprints Hetzer is a nice model. Its not cheap, plan on ~1500 USD investment (unless you print parts yourself) - but you can't touch a 1/6 RC tank for close to that.

How much are the Power Wagon ambulances going for? I tried to look on his site but couldn't find any info on prices, and like so many here I don't do FB! And I don't speak German!
